Senior Front End Engineer

We are looking for a Front-End Developer with a focus on Vue.JS 3 and Node JS, You are bringing already technical skills, an innovative mindset, affinity with business and an entrepreneurial drive. We are looking for passionate people who are used to or willing to work in (Agile) teams with a “go get it” mentality. Our team of engineers have strong system design and coding skills combined with an understanding of the business and a focus on continuous improvement.

Your job

As Front-End Engineer, your main goal is to develop innovative apps for our initiatives and for our business lines with the focus on Vue.js 3 and Node JS. You help realize the execution of the Innovation Tech mission: the high-speed engine that delivers the future of banking! Your activities include:

• Create visually appealing and highly interactive user interfaces using modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Ensure that end-users have a seamless and engaging experience by translating design concepts into responsive and intuitive web applications.
• Collaborate closely with Product Designers, Back-end Engineers, and other team members to bring design concepts to life.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues to maintain the reliability and performance of web applications
• Take ownership of specific features, tasks, or even entire projects, seeing them through from conception to completion and successful release.
• Write clean and efficient code, adhering to best practices, and ensuring that your solutions are reusable and maintainable.

Working environment

The Engineering team consists of 8-10 professionals with a passion for innovation and development and we work every day to create (measurable) impact for the bank. We focus on 'making a difference' and take a pragmatic approach to our solutions. You’ll work intensively together with our innovation initiatives, business teams and you’ll be part of a self-organized, multi-disciplinary, Agile team. We bring in knowledge from other departments within the bank such as product experts, legal and information security when necessary. There is an open team atmosphere where initiative is encouraged and where coaching and knowledge transfer is part of your day to day job.

Your profile

It's important to have experience in these area's:

• VueJS (Vue3)
• Typescript
• Cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
• Solid experience with unit testing, regression testing, e2e
• Life cycle management
