Assistant Reporting & Consolidation - Riwal Holding Group

Locatie: Dordrecht

Purpose
The assistant reporting & consolidation plays an important role in the accurate, complete and timely consolidation and reporting of the (consolidated) figures of the group to both internal and external stakeholders and supporting the local finance teams on various subjects related to the financial closing and the consolidation system.

Organizational Structure

  • Part of the HQ Controlling team
  • Reports to the Manager Reporting & Consolidation 

Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting

  • Translate requests for new/changed reporting needs into the reporting models;
  • Proactively improve reporting models to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data used for reporting;
  • Make sure fleet, TRW and other financial KPI’s are uploaded accurately and timely to the reporting system;
  • Prepare reporting models (country slides, MBR and BOD) during the monthly closing process;
  • Prepare the monthly reporting to the functional heads and other internal stakeholders;
  • Prepare the quarterly and yearly models used to calculate input for reporting to banks including supporting calculations and analysis;
  • Support the local finance teams in accounting related queries and provide solutions which are in line with the group reporting standards; 

Consolidation

  • Coordinate and execute monthly consolidation process across the group;
  • Track if all local finance team timely execute on the global financial reporting planning;
  • Manage the group wide IC reconciliation and align IC differences with the local finance teams;
  • Constantly look for opportunities to make the IC reconciliation and consolidation process more efficient;
  • Manage the technical part of the consolidation, including performing of the monthly subsidiary postings in the consolidation software according the RHG structure chart;
  • Perform the monthly equity reconciliation and other checks to ensure accurate and complete consolidation;
  • Provide hands-on support to local finance team to realize process improvements;
  • Functional responsibility for the consolidation and reporting system, initiate changes and improvements;

Controlling

  • Provide Hands-on support to controlling team when required to ensure continuity of processes and deliverables;

Team

  • Train new members of the finance community in the use of the consolidation system;
  • Key user and first point of contact for the consolidation system;
  • Proactively share knowledge and best practices with the members of the finance community. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting/Finance or related field;
  • Knowledge of consolidation and reporting processes and procedures is an advantage;
  • Excellent language skills in English (written and spoken);
  • Excellent command of MS Office or similar IT applications. Knowledge of ERP and Reporting/Consolidation systems (i.e. Lucanet) is preferred;
  • Team player;
  • Strong affinity with IT;
  • Quick learner, eager to learn and develop.

Remuneration and Perspective
The remuneration package for this position is in line with the market and includes a competitive fixed salary and an attractive bonus scheme. The average bonus in the past three years was 15% of the gross annual salary including holiday allowance. No rights can be derived from this regulation.

We also offer a very interesting defined premium pension plan with Nationale Nederlanden with only 1% personal contribution. In addition, you have 29 days' holiday per year and the possibility to participate in our group health insurance with ONVZ, with a discount on basic insurance and additional packages.
