Treasury Controller - Philips

Working in one of Philips Corporate Staff Departments, you'll be at the heart of our worldwide company. These departments play a key role in supporting the Royal Philips Electronics Board of Management (BoM). So you may be involved in helping manage the processes and functions core to our operations: Performance Management, Finance, Human Resources, Technology Management, Brand Management, or Information Technology. Whatever your role, you'll be helping implement BoM decisions, measure our performance, set company-wide standards and drive corporate initiatives. You may be involved in the creation of corporate products as diverse as our Annual Report, our brand image or a high-quality talent pool. But in every case, your activities will touch those of colleagues throughout Philips, as well as customers and stakeholders outside.

Treasury Control ensures that all global Treasury processes are coordinated and controlled by proactive effective business controls and an information-sharing infrastructure. The control team acts as a pro-active business partner for all Treasury product lines through supporting analysis and control initiatives in each of these areas (Corporate Finance, Business Finance, Risk Management, Insurance and Treasury Operations).

Furthermore, it also monitors on a daily basis whether the Dealing Room is in compliance with the policies and limits stated in the Financial Risk Policy. The control team also acts as the primary contact for Corporate Control and the Business Analyst Group in all Treasury related financial reporting aspects as well as acting as the main partner to the group internal and external audit teams monitoring treasury processes..

Your Responsibilities
You will be performing and/or monitoring the following daily / monthly processes:

Analysis of monthly consolidated Treasury Financial items from group account. Preparation of management reports and contact with business controllers to discuss treasury financial subjects.
Assist in Rofo, AOP and SR planning (Quarterly, Annually x 2) processes for Treasury related items
Contribution to Annual report preparation and completion
Group Month end market rates collection
Perform group cash flow forecasting
(Ad hoc) projects and support
Assist in development of accounting guidelines as required and supports the implementation of these guidelines in the operating entities
ICS and Sox monitoring and control for Treasury related topics
Responsibility for Treasury risk control matrix and control process designs
Support Control activities for other treasury departments and functions
